StormTrack: July 24: Bismarck, ND

From The Weather Centre's MSTT,
The Weather Centre has issued a Special Weather Watch
for Bismarck and Surrounding Areas of North Dakota.

At 4:25 PM... The Weather Centre's MSTT detected severe and dangerous storms in North Dakota.

Be advised...one of these storms has a radar DBZ of over 70 units. That storm has been declared a DANGEROUS SITUATION, and is located to the immediate east of Bismarck, ND.

People in these areas should prepare for gusty winds over 60 MPH, up to quarter size hail, and consistent  dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning.

This warning will expire at 12:00 AM CDT tonight.

Extension: An extension of this warning past the expiration time is not likely.

Storms Again- July 24, 2011

Well, Chicago has been hit yet again with a round of severe storms this morning, and that can only mean one thing- more flooding. We will be sending out a survey team at some point today and pictures will come up from that survey. Look for the title 'July 24 Chicago Flooding Pictures' later today.
