We are tracking some strong storms moving into the Chicagoland area. Hailstones over an inch have been reported, as well as some gusty winds. The main threats will be smaller hail in southern portions of this yellow box (severe thunderstorm warning), but the entire area affected will get in on some gusty winds and definitely lightning. These storms are really the big lightning producers, so it is advised you get inside ASAP if you are outside at this time.
