SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER BULLETIN

A SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER BULLETIN IS IN EFFECT FOR THE FOLLOWING STATES:
-IOWA
-SOUTH MINNESOTA
-FAR WEST WISCONSIN

AT 7:40AM CDT, A MODERATE RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TODAY WAS OUTLINED BY THE SPC IN THE ABOVE AREAS.

PEOPLE IN THOSE AREAS ARE TO PREPARE FOR POSSIBLE HIGH WINDS, HAIL, AND TORNADOES, AS WELL AS FLOODING.

THIS BULLETIN MAY BE REPLACED BY AN EXTREME WEATHER WATCH.

Special Weather Warning (Missouri)

A Special Warning has been issued for Missouri.

At 6:17pm CDT, Strong to severe storms had warranted a severe thunderstorm watch.

People in this area should prepare for severe thunderstorms by securing outdoor objects and potential flooding.

This warning will expire at 7:30pm CDT.

A Special Weather Advisory has been issued for the Entire Southeast U.S., exluding the following area:
-Florida

At 6:04pm CDT, strong but scattered storms were occuring in all the Southeast US excluding Florida.

This advisory will expire at 9:00pm CDT.

A Special Weather Warning has been issued for FGlorida.

At 5:48pm CDT, strong storms were occuring over a large portion of Florida.

This warning will expire at 9:00pm CDT.

A Special Weather Watch issued for the Entire Southeast US is being updated.

At This time, The Special Weather Watch is cancelled.
However, many advisories and warnings will replace this watch area soon.

Special Weather Advisory (North Carolina)

A Special Weather Advisory has been issued for east North Carolina.

At 1:44pm CDT, popcorn storms in Eatern North Carolina had warranted a Severe Thunderstorm Watch.

These storms are moving NNE (North Northeast)somewhat slowly.

People in the vicinity of this area should prepare for sudden thunderstorms to erupt in minutes' time.

This Advisory may be under discussion should the situation worsen.

This Advisory is forecast to expire at 4:00pm CDT.

Special Weather Watch (Entire Southeast U.S.)

A Special Weather Watch has been issued for the Entire Southeast U.S.

At 1:41pm CDT, radar indicated many popcorn storm cells were developing over the entire Southeast.

While not all Southeast states have popcorn storms at this time, they may in the future.

This watch will expire at 9:00pm CDT.

Special Weather Advisory (Kansas, Oklahoma)

A Special Weather Advisory has been issued for the following areas:
-Northeast Kansas
-Central Oklahoma

At 12:12pm CDT, strong to potentially severe storms were occuring in these areas.

The storms in Northeast Kansas were moving northeast.
The storms in Central Oklahoma were moving east.

This will expire at 1:00pm CDT in Kansas,
And 1:30pm CDT in Oklahoma

Special Weather Discussion (Kansas)

A Special Weather Discussion is in effect for Kansas.

At 9:47am CDT, strong to possibly severe storms were firing in the area. These storms were moving northeast.

This presents the discussion of opening up a Special Weather Warning to Kansas. The only lacking item is widespread storms.


If the lack of quantity continues, the advisory will remain.
If the lack of quantity becomes widespread thunderstorms, a Special Weather Warning will be issued.

As you wake up in the east coast, some rain is occuring on the coasts of Virginia and Northcarolina, with some storms occuring in New York. In the Southeast, all appears dry or drying out from last night's intense storms. In the South to Southwest, a few storms are occuring in Oklahoma, but all else is dry. In the Northwest, light showers are circulating like they have for yesterday. In the Midwest are some storms in Kansas, but everything else is dry. Good Morning, and have a good day.
